Ration and Emotion

      Men are different from women in many ways such as using language, expressing love and dealing with questions. I think men are rational and women are emotional. First, when a man loved a woman, he didn’t only consider money and beauty and he would consider the family background and others factors. However, nowadays, for unmarried girls, a woman only considered money when she would love a man. Maybe, some people don’t agree with me; that is no problem because we have a different idea. You can insist on your opinion. Second, men express their loves by giving presents. The value of presents is proportional to how much love you. In contrast, when a woman decided on whether a man loved her, maybe she consider whether he talked with her and understood her feelings. Third, men usually went to drink with his friends and didn’t let his wife to know his sadness when he was upset; however, when a woman was upset, she liked to share with her husband and she thought that it was a way to express her love. Fourth, there are different ideas about jobs. In China, because of different nature of work, men seldom study nursing and women seldom study oil drilling; for example, in school of nursing, South China University, there is only a man studying nursing in 2011 session of the third class. In addition, we should consider the differences between men and women when we face the different ideas about the same things with her or him.

A Daydream on Money

       At present, some people think that money is everything. They say that you can do everything if you have money. I don’t think so. Nowadays I am not a rich man, and can’t do everything which l would like to do. If I want to spend a lot of money, I have to consider money problem. If I have a chance to get the $10 million in the lottery, I am going to have a detailed plan. First, I will have a donation to charity about 50% of my income, especially children. Those people who are very old or young need to be taken care of because they have no income and labor. I hope that they are going to obtain the care and attention. If the government wants to do those, they need money. Second, I want to do something for my hometown; for example, I want to build a highway from Beijing city to my hometown. Nowadays, my hometown isn’t very rich and they want to develop the industry and agriculture. If there aren’t many roads and transport, they can’t do anything. As we know, money is very important for our living. We need money to buy food, buy a house or pay our education cost, but the money isn’t everything. In my opinion, money can both benefit people and do harm to them. If some people try to get money by dishonest means, it will be a bad thing. Money can bring them nothing but misery. In a word, I know that I have no chance to get the $10 million, but I hope the people who have gotten the $10 million are going to do some useful thing to the society.

 

Cyber Crime

                                 

       With the development of internet, cyber crimes have become more and more serious than before. At present, cyber crimes may happen anywhere and anytime on the internet. In our daily life, we often use the internet to deal with money transfer and financial business; for example, we can remit money to others by using the private bank. Using the internet to do something , you must connect the internet with help of network tool such as WIFI, GPRS. When you use the WIFI, especially free WIFI, to get on the internet, you will create an opportunity for cyber criminals. In fact, while you are entering username and password, the hacker will obtain your private information immediately. In addition, we often receive the message, your credit card being spent five hundred, and please telephone this number to check the amount of money. If you call up the number, according to the process, your money will disappear without any reasons. Therefore, these crimes destroy network security greatly and make users suffer great losses. In China, we use the free WIFI seldom, but we will use the free WIFI in the shopping and super market safely in Calgary. In a word, we should prohibit the cyber crimes. First, we must protect our private information. Moreover, we should use the familiar network and don’t use unknown or free network. Besides, we should develop high techniques as soon as to improve defensive system. Finally, we should punish the cyber criminals strictly.

An Extreme Sport

                                 

    Because skiing is an extreme sport, skiing is not a sport for everyone, and there are many who won't enjoy it. However, many people who try skiing once will like it and never give it up. Although I don’t ski very well, I think that the skiing is a very amazing and exciting sport.

    At 9:00am, May 8^th,2015, I left University of Calgary to Sunshine Village, sitting high on the Continental Divide in the heart of Banff National Park, by bus, where I try my best to study the skiing. This is my first time to skiing and I spent a couple of days on it. The scene along the way is very beautiful and sometimes we can see a deer in the forest. No better words to describe it, but simple clean and pretty. When we arrive at Sunshine Village, I rent my equipment, including boots, helmet, skis and poles, from the service station. Lacks of skiing experience, the boots which I choose aren’t suitable for me. When I finished my skiing trip two days later, there were a lot of blisters on my ankles. In spite of my ankle is in pain, I have gotten the skiing experience and enjoy the process of skiing. As I think before, I will fall. When I don’t keep my balance and control my speed, I will try to fall down and avoid crashing others. With the development of my skills, I can ski from the top to ground without falling. So I am very glad that I have the chance to study skiing. Thanks to the work team and University of Calgary! I like it very much.
